Community

The Kabeyun community started with five campers and a group of dedicated adults in 1924; today, more than 200 boys spend each summer with over 50 staff. Those who are connected to Kabeyun as current and former campers, current and former staff, or relatives of current and former campers and staff share a common bond which extends to those who are just beginning to learn about the place so many of us think of as home.

The pages in this section of the website are for the Kabeyun community. Here, you can browse through Photo Galleries of past summers or check out both recent and ancient All-Camp Photos. We're just getting started with projects like a Discussion Forum, where new and returning members of the community can read what others are saying, ask and answer questions, track down old friends. Lastly, this area features a growing directory of Kabeyun alums, both an Active User Directory of those who've registered here at the new website, as well as the Alumni Email Directory Archive (addresses from the old site).

We hope it doesn't stop there — the vision is to make this site a resource to our friends and family as much as it is for those who are interested in learning about Kabeyun for the first time. If you have ideas about new services we could offer here, please use our Contact form to make a suggestion, or start a thread in the forum. This space is for you, and we're glad you're here!

Much of the content here is limited to registered users, such as the directories, permission to post in the forums, and access to information about Family Camp. Please consider taking a few moments to register today; your information will be kept safe, and you have the option to either display it to other logged-in users or to keep it hidden.

Parents Love It!

Camp was everything I had hoped it would be for Jake. He is more confident, self-reliant, and a little more easy-going than before, and he's talking about going for the whole summer next year. Never a fan of school before, we dropped him off on the first day, and he said 'Only eight more months until camp starts again!'”

“Watching Dan in the play and knowing the history of his trying out and then his desire to drop out, followed by your keeping him engaged and committed, was awesome. He did an amazing job on stage Saturday night and when I looked into his eyes later that night - he knew. He knew he had accomplished something incredible.
